Gamma Epsilon Omega

Established in 1963 by 9 founding brothers, Gamma Epsilon Omega was the first Asian-interest fraternity established in Southern California, and the second oldest in the nation. With 53 years of tradition and over 500 men as alumni, Gammas have a rich history characterized by pioneering and shifting the standards for Asian Greek life. In 1982, Gammas founded the Southern California Asian Greek Council, which has grown to become the highly influential governing body currently consisting of 17 prominent Asian-interest fraternities and sororities throughout the SoCal region. In 1996, Gammas also were the first minority organization to obtain a house on USC’s famous Greek Row. While our active class size and house locations have varied with the times, one thing has remained unchanged: our drive to innovate and stand out.

Gammas are currently a single chapter founded at USC, meaning that all Gammas past, present, and future are part of the Trojan family that our school has become famous for.

We are currently the only officially recognized fraternity in USC’s Asian Greek Council. However, as a premiere Asian Interest fraternity, we pride ourselves in bringing together brothers who represent a wide and diverse array of backgrounds, majors, and interests. From SoCal to the Bay, and countries all across the world, our brothers truly bring a global perspective. Additionally, with majors from engineering to english, and hobbies that include everything from basketball to photography, you’re sure to find your fit with Gammas.
